A couple of minutes north of Paraparaumu is the Southward Car Museum. This is one of the biggest most comprehensive collections vintage and veteran cars in the Southern Hemisphere. The Southward Car Museum has 6,000 sq metres of display. The Southward Car Museum is located adjacent to State Highway One on Otaihanga Road.
